Every time you come back from a mission, he digs up random materials for you like a proud cock showing off shiny trinkets. The more you level him, the better the loot.
Here’s how to get this clucker from scrapheap to legend.
🥇 Level 2 – Dog Collar
Your first upgrade item is the Dog Collar.
You can find it:
- In Residential containers
- Or inside residential houses (usually on shelves or tables)
If you’re on the Dam Battleground, check the north-west corner near the broken rails — there’s usually a container cluster there with collars lying around.
🥈 Level 3 – Lemons & Apricots
Time for some fruity loot. You’ll need:
- 🍋 3 Lemons
- 🍑 3 Apricots
Apricots: Found on the Dam Battleground, around the red lake and small islands — usually under certain fruit trees.
Lemons: Head to the Buried City map, specifically Marrano Park. They’re under the trees, and you can sometimes shake or interact with them for drops.
Blue Gate map → Olive Grove — jackpot area with olives, lemons, and apricots all together.
🥉 Level 4 – Prickly Pears, Olives & Cat Bed
Your rooster’s taste is getting fancier.
Collect:
- 🌵 6 Prickly Pears
- 🫒 6 Olives
- 🛏️ 1 Cat Bed
Prickly Pears: Found in the north of the Dam Battleground, near the broken bridge and cactus clusters.
Olives: Blue Gate map → Olive Grove — jackpot area with olives, lemons, and apricots all together.
Cat Bed: Found in commercial POIs like Plaza Rosa (Buried City).
🏆 Level 5 – Apricots, Mushrooms & Pillows
For the final stretch, you’ll need:
- 🍑 12 Apricots
- 🍄 12 Mushrooms
- 💤 3 Very Comfortable Pillows
Mushrooms: Found on the Dam Battleground, around broken trees and near the water plant pipes.
Pillows: Found inside houses in the village area on the Blue Gate map.
🧠 Pro Tip
If you find any of these items early, don’t sell them.
Once you pick them up, stash them safely using your “Prison Pocket” — otherwise, you’ll lose them if you get looted. (We’ve all been there. No shame.)
