Whether you’re a fresh fledgling or a returning nightstalker, these ten tips will save you a ton of blood, XP, and frustration in Bloodlines 2.

1. Hunt the Rooftop Graffiti for Permanent Health Boosts
Hidden across the city rooftops are glowing blue graffiti marks that permanently increase your health bar when absorbed with Telekinesis. Each one gives +100 XP. Watch the reticle in the middle of your screen — when it turns into a circle and expands, you’re close to a collectible.

2. Master Vampire Parkour
Use Vampire Sight to see climbable walls and pipes (highlighted in yellow). Hold the dodge button to sprint, double jump, and glide faster between rooftops. It’s your key to smooth traversal — and sneaky aerial kills. Just avoid sprinting near civilians unless you enjoy breaking the Masquerade.
3. Telekinesis Is Totally Overpowered
Every clan gets Telekinesis — and it’s broken in the best way. Pull enemies off ledges, fling objects as silent projectiles, or grab guns midair to fire them remotely. It’s silent, stylish, and stupidly strong — a must-use ability for stealth and combat alike.
4. Never Get Cornered in a Brawl
If you’re surrounded, you’re dead meat. Dodge constantly — left, right, or backward — then counter with a punch or dropkick to knock foes down and create feeding opportunities. Unless your clan has AoE powers, mobility is your best defense.
5. Breaking the Masquerade Has Real Consequences
Abusing your powers in public fills your Masquerade meter:
- 🟢 Safe
- 🟡 Suspicious
- 🔴 Hunted by police
- 💀 Camarilla assassin inbound
Lose line of sight fast and hit the rooftops before you’re staked through the heart.

6. Clan Choice Defines Your Playstyle
Your starting clan determines your core build — stealth, brute force, or blood magic. Later on, train with other clans (unlocked after the first boss) to access their abilities. Cross-clan skills cost 6–12 points, unless your clan has affinity discounts.
7. Blood Resonance — What It Is and How to Farm It
Blood Resonance powers certain upgrades:
- 💗 Pink = Aroused
- 💙 Blue = Afraid
- ❤️ Red = Angry
Use Vampire Sight or Sensors to spot emotional NPCs, lure them into alleys, and feed safely.
Full feeds = 100 resonance points. Getting caught = Masquerade trouble.
8. Mixing Clan Powers
Once you’ve trained with another clan, spend points to equip their abilities — up to four active skills total. To unlock a clan’s final perk, you’ll need to complete their entire tree, so plan ahead to avoid wasting points.
9. Unlock Clan Outfits
Mastering a clan’s skill tree unlocks unique outfits. NPCs react differently based on what you wear, and certain looks even make farming specific blood emotions easier. Vampire fashion isn’t just for vanity — it’s tactical.
10. Don’t Ignore the Side Quests
The main story offers fast XP, but side quests are missable and packed with rewards, lore, and faction benefits.
They unlock clan informants and unique contracts — plus respawning rooftop ghouls later in the game make for excellent XP farming.
Balance story progression with exploration to truly dominate the night.
