⭐ How to Start “The Right Tool” in Arc Raiders
Head over to Tian Wen, the Gunsmith trader. She’ll give you the quest and basically say:
“Hey Raider, could you go dismantle three murder-robots for me? Thanks.”
Your targets are:
- Hornet (flying ARC)
- Turret (stationary defense ARC)
- Fireball (rolling flame-thrower ARC)
You can destroy them in any order, across any number of raids.

You can find these enemies everywhere, but if you want the fastest route, load into:
Recommended Map: Dam Battlegrounds
This map has huge open lanes, lots of visual range, and consistent ARC spawns.
Best hotspots:
- Water Treatment (safer, fewer players)
- Research (high risk, high chance of ARCs)
- Administration (ARC clusters, but PvP danger)

🤖 ARC Enemy Breakdown — What They Look Like & How to Kill Them
🐝 Hornet — “The flying headache”
- One of the first enemies you meet in the game
- Patrols almost every region
- Shoots on sight
- Weak point: back rotors
- Tip: Use your ping to identify flying ARCs quickly
Once you shoot off its rotors, it bursts into metal confetti. Easy kill.
🛡️ Turret — “The ‘peek and die’ machine”
- Found inside buildings, entryways, and research zones
- Stationary, laser-accurate, rude
- Tip: Don’t ego-peek. Use cover. Throwables help a ton.
Take it down from behind a wall and enjoy watching it melt.
🔥 Fireball — “The rolling BBQ robot”
- Appears inside buildings
- Hunts you down aggressively
- Blasts flames right at your face
- Best weapons:
- Ferro IV
- Any accurate rifle
- Tip: Don’t let it close the distance; they hit surprisingly hard.
They look like white metal orbs patrolling hallways. Shoot first, admire later.
