Keep your gear from breaking
In Enshrouded, weapons and tools lose durability the more you use them. If durability hits zero, the item breaks—something you definitely want to avoid while exploring the Shroud or clearing enemy camps.
Thankfully, repairing gear in Enshrouded is simple and free, as long as you know where to look.
How to Repair Gear Using a Workbench
The most common way to repair weapons and tools is through a Workbench.
How to Get a Workbench

- 3× String (crafted from Plant Fiber)
- 8× Wood Logs (chop down trees)
Place the Workbench anywhere in your base.
How Repairing Works

- Walk up to the Workbench
- Press Interact (E)
- Open the crafting screen
All weapons and tools in your inventory are instantly repaired.
✅ No materials required
✅ No gold cost
✅ Repairs everything at once
Alternative Repair Method: Anvils (Very Useful)
Besides the Workbench, there is another way to repair gear.
Using Anvils in Enemy Bases

- Some enemy camps and locations contain anvils
- These anvils can also be used to repair weapons
- Simply interact with the anvil, just like a Workbench
This is extremely useful when:
- You’re far from your base
- Your weapon is close to breaking
- You don’t want to fast travel back
If you see an anvil while exploring, use it.
Important Things to Know
- Repairs are instant
- You don’t need the original crafting materials
- Only items in your inventory get repaired
- Broken items can be avoided entirely if you repair regularly
Final Tip
Always keep an eye on durability bars, especially before entering Shroud zones or elite enemy camps. A quick repair—either at base or at a nearby anvil—can save you from a bad situation.
