Quest Overview
Eyes on the Prize is a mid-tier Tian Wen mission in Buried City that requires you to locate a hidden roof terrace and rewire a solar junction box using 3 wires.
The challenge isn’t the enemies—it’s simply finding the right building.
Important tip:
Before deploying, put 3 wires in your safepocket.
This saves you from scavenging during the raid and lets you complete the quest instantly once you find the terrace.
Eyes on the Prize Quest Objectives
- Find the secluded roof terrace south-west of the Southern Station (look for blue tarps).
- Rewire the solar panel using 3 Wires.
How to Prepare (Bring 3 Wires First!)
1. Craft Wires
Recycle fried motherboards or other electric components. But most likley you have it already in your inventory.
2. Or Buy from Celeste
- Go to Traders → Celeste
- Buy 3 Wires for 12 seeds
- Place them in your safepocket before you deploy.
If you forget this step, you’ll need to loot wires on location, wasting time and exposing yourself to other Raiders.
How to Complete Eyes on the Prize
1. Deploy into Buried City
Head to the Old Town region on the southern side of the map.
The quest hint says:
“South-west of the Southern Station, marked by blue tarps.”
That hint is accurate.
2. Find the Secluded Roof Terrace
Look southwest of Plaza Rosa for a cluster of houses.
You’re looking for:
- A rooftop terrace with a large blue tarp
- A plank bridge connecting two rooftops
- More blue tarp pieces hanging from the bridge
It’s the westernmost house in the cluster.
You can reach it by climbing the surrounding buildings—plenty of cover to avoid Hornets and Wasps patrolling the area.
3. Rewire the Solar Panel
Once on the terrace:
- Find the yellow junction box
- Interact with it
- Your 3 wires will be used automatically
- Quest completes instantly
No need to extract. No loot required. Just finish the objective and you’re good.
Rewards
You’ll receive:
- Extended Shotgun Mag II x1
- Extended Medium Mag II x1
Solid upgrades for both shotgun and AR builds—definitely worth the short trip.
