The Industrial Espionage quest in Arc Raiders is one of Tian Wen’s “dirty work” missions — and honestly, it’s one of the easiest quests you’ll ever knock out if you prep correctly.
You’re basically sabotaging a rival weapons stash in the Buried City, and all you need to do is bring a Burletta I pistol, drop it in the crate, plant a tracking bug, and boom — done.
Here’s the full walkthrough, plus how I completed it in under two minutes thanks to a lucky spawn.
Industrial Espionage Quest Objectives
You get this mission from Tian Wen after completing some of her earlier quests like Eyes on the Prize and Echoes of Victory Ridge.
Objectives:
- Bring a Burletta I pistol
- Find Tian Wen’s weapon cache near the Gas Station
- Place the Burletta in the rival cache
- Plant a bug to complete the sabotage
Simple, clean, and no extracting required.
How to Prepare (Important!)
Before launching your raid into Buried City, do this:
✅ Place a Burletta I in your inventory
Not in your safe pocket — inventory is fine.
Tian Wen gives you one when you accept the quest, but if you somehow lose it, you can:
- Craft one at Gunsmith Level 2
- Or buy a replacement from Tian Wen
If you spawn without it, you cannot progress the quest.
Industrial Espionage Quest Walkthrough
1. Deploy into Buried City
When I did this quest, I spawned near the Gas Station, which saved me a ton of time.
If you’re not that lucky, just set a waypoint and head there — the Gas Station is in the Outskirts, north-east part of the map.

- The exact stash spot
2. Find the Rival Weapon Cache
Go to the west side of the Gas Station.
You’re looking for:
- A half-buried vehicle
- A dusty couch
- A crate tucked between them
That crate is the rival stash.
It blends in with the junk pile, so don’t sprint past it.
3. Deposit the Burletta I
Interact with the crate:
- First interaction → places the Burletta I inside
- Second interaction → plants the bug
There is no extra animation, no enemies spawning, nothing fancy.
Just a quick double-tap on the interact button.
Once you plant the bug → quest completes instantly, even if you die afterward.
When I finished it, the game literally completed the quest on the spot.
Rewards for Completing Industrial Espionage

- Burletta Blueprint x1
- Mechanical Components x3
- Simple Gun Parts x3
The Burletta blueprint is the big win here — you can now craft the upgraded versions without relying on RNG.
