Reduced to Rubble is a Shani quest set in Bluegate, sending you on a lore-focused walk through old ARC destruction. There’s almost zero combat unless another squad finds you, and you don’t need any items except binoculars for the photo. No extraction required either.
If you don’t know where to go, this quest can feel confusing. With a guide? It’s extremely simple.
Reduced to Rubble – Quest Objectives
- Take a photo of the Collapsed Highway (In Interaction promp will pop up)
- Go to Broken Earth
- Follow the trail of destruction
- Investigate the Unknown ARC Machine
1. Take a Photo of the Collapsed Highway
Head to the southern end of Bluegate, where the collapsed bridge/highway structure is.
Move to the center point between the two broken road sections until the “Take Photo” prompt appears.
Use binoculars → take the shot → objective complete.
2. Run Down to Broken Earth
Broken Earth is located southwest of the collapsed highway.
Simply run to the marked zone — there are no enemies tied to this step, only ambient ARC patrols.
3. Follow the Trail of Destruction
The quest suggests following a visual trail, but you don’t actually need to.
As long as you reach the next marked area, the objective completes instantly.
You can ignore all rubble and sprint directly to the final location.
4. Investigate the Unknown ARC Machine

At the end of the route, you’ll find a massive destroyed ARC machine.
Approach the side facing the direction you arrived from and interact with it.
This finishes the quest immediately.
My Gameplay Experience
I completed this quest with a free loadout since it requires no pickups or extraction.
No safepocket items, no crafting, and no tricky mechanics — just walking between locations and interacting.
The only real challenge is knowing where the objectives actually are, because the game doesn’t guide the Broken Earth area very clearly.
But once you know the highway midpoint and where the ARC corpse is located, the entire quest is straightforward and extremely fast.

Not bad for one of the easiest quests in the game.
