If Picking Up the Pieces taught you how to loot and Clearer Skies taught you to shoot drones out of the sky, Trash Into Treasure is your hands-on crash course in scavenging. Shani is basically prepping you for the Arc Raiders lifestyle: digging through scrap like a gremlin until you find something useful.
She sums the philosophy up perfectly:
“There’s no such thing as junk, to a Raider.”
She’s right. Even broken toaster parts will eventually turn into ammo, armor, or something that explodes.
Let’s run through the quest.
How To Complete Trash Into Treasure in Arc Raiders
You accept the quest from Shani at the Security Terminal. Once it’s active, you’re immediately sent out into the wild for two materials:
1️⃣ Find 6× Wires
Wires are common but scattered. You’ll find them while looting:
- Broken ARC drones
- Supply caches
- Derelict buildings
- Mechanical debris piles
- Basically anything that looks like “tech trash”
Just keep looting. If you’re playing aggressively, you’ll naturally get all six on a single run.
2️⃣ Find 1× Battery
Batteries are a bit rarer. Search:
- Abandoned tech crates
- Areas with energy cores
- Wrecked machinery
- OR recycle a Power Bank (best guaranteed method)
Once you gather:
✔ 6× Wires
✔ 1× Battery
You’re done with all scavenging objectives.
3️⃣ Extract Without Dying
Like every Arc Raiders quest, nothing counts until you extract.
You know the drill:
- Watch for other players
- Don’t extract loudly unless you’re geared for PvP
- Expect a fight near the elevator
- Try a stealth extract if your bags are full of precious components
Return to Shani safely, and she’ll mark it complete.
Rewards for Completing Trash Into Treasure
It’s still an early-game quest, so rewards are helpful, not flashy:
- Tactical MK.1 Augment
- 3× Adrenaline Shots
Good starter upgrades before the game starts demanding real builds.
