In Arc Raiders, not every quest is about killing ARCs or extracting loot. Eyes in the Sky is a longer, map-spanning objective that rewards map knowledge and positioning, rather than raw combat skill.
Your task is simple on paper:
install LIDAR scanners at three elevated locations across different maps. The challenge lies in getting there safely.
Eyes in the Sky – Quest Overview
- Quest Giver: Shani
- Maps Required:
- Dam Battlegrounds
- Spaceport
- Buried City
- Single Run Required: ❌ No
- Order Required: ❌ No
You can complete each objective in separate runs, in any order.
Quest Objectives
- Install a LIDAR scanner on the Control Tower (Dam Battlegrounds)
- Install a LIDAR scanner on the Communication Tower (Spaceport)
- Install a LIDAR scanner on the Galleria Sign (Buried City) (Zipline needed)
Once all three scanners are installed, the quest completes automatically.
Dam Battlegrounds – Control Tower (High Risk)
This is the most dangerous objective of the quest.
How to Reach the Control Tower
- Load into Dam Battlegrounds
- Head west of the Water Treatment Control Station
- Enter the Control Tower building
- Use the zipline at the end of the hallway
- Ride up, then take the second zipline to climb higher
- Move through the interior hallway and breach the door to the roof
On the roof:
- Move forward and toward the left corner
- Interact with the device to install the LIDAR scanner
⚠️ Warning
- Expect turrets on the way up
- It’s also a high-loot zone
- Expect PvP encounters
If you’re lightly geared or solo, consider:
- moving quickly
- installing the scanner and leaving immediately
- avoiding prolonged fights
Spaceport – Communication Tower (Easiest Objective)
This is by far the simplest scanner installation if you know where to go.
Location
- Load into Spaceport
- Head to the far east side of the map
- Look for the large brown Communication Tower
- It’s located west of the container storage / high-loot building
Installation
- Climb the ladder to the top
- Walk around the platform
- Interact with the device to install the scanner
No puzzles, no special tools, minimal risk.
Buried City – Galleria Sign (Zipline Required)
This objective requires preparation.
Important Requirement
✅ Bring a zipline
You cannot complete this objective without one.
Location
- Load into Buried City
- Head to the Galleria building
- It’s located around:
- the hospital
- the space travel station
Installation Steps
- Reach the roof of the Galleria
- Attach your zipline to the tall structure leading upward
- Carefully ride the zipline to the top
- Place it cleanly to avoid falling or overshooting
- Interact with the device to install the scanner
Once installed, this objective completes immediately.
Quest Completion
After installing all three LIDAR scanners:
- The quest auto-completes
- Return to Shani to claim your rewards
You do not need to extract with any quest item.
Eyes in the Sky – Quest Rewards
Completing the quest rewards you with:
- Tagging Grenades ×3
- Vita Spray ×1
- Yellow Light Stick ×5
Solid utility rewards, especially useful for scouting and survival-focused runs.
