Amber is a useful crafting resource in Enshrouded and is required for several recipes and Flame progression. Once you know where to look, it’s very easy to farm.
Best Amber Location
If available, fast travel to the Revelwood Ancient Spire.
From the spire:
- Head east from the tower.
- Enter the nearby Shroud area.
- Look at the mountain walls — Amber nodes grow directly from the rock.
I’ve marked three reliable Amber spots on the map in the screenshot to help you get started.
What Amber Looks Like
Amber appears as glowing orange crystals embedded in the mountain wall.

Remember to take a pickaxe with you.
Mark Amber Locations for Later
During your adventures you will discover more Amber nodes. It’s a good idea to mark them for future farming.
How to place a marker:
- Open the map with M
- Move your mouse to the location
- Right-click
- Select Create Marker
- Choose the resource icon
Now you’ll always know where to return when you need more Amber.
Check the Shroud Color First
Before entering the Shroud, check its color.
- Red mist Shroud → Your Flame level is too low. You will die quickly.
- Light blue / white Shroud → Safe to enter.
If the Shroud appears red, upgrade your Flame before attempting this run.
Amber becomes much easier to gather once you unlock Revelwood and start marking resource nodes on your map.
