Wood Acid is one of those materials you don’t think about…
Until you try making Tin Bars.
Then suddenly, you need it.
Here’s how to get it.
Step 1 – Unlock the Blacksmith
Before anything else:
- Rescue and unlock the Blacksmith
- Interact with him to unlock crafting stations
Step 2 – Build a Charcoal Kiln
To build a Charcoal Kiln, you need:
- 20 Stone
Craft it via the Blacksmith and place it at your base.
Now you’re ready to produce Wood Acid.
Step 3 – Craft Wood Acid
At the Charcoal Kiln, insert:
- 15 Wood Logs
(Hardwood or Palm Wood Logs also work) - 3 Dirt (any dirt type)
Output:
- 10 Wood Acid
- Craft time: 7 minutes
Load it up and let it process.
What Is Wood Acid Used For?
Wood Acid is required for:
- Tin Bars
- Various mid-game crafting recipes
If you’re moving into Bronze-tier progression, you’ll need a steady supply.

- Stockpile Dirt
- Stockpile Wood
- Run the kiln while you’re exploring
