Your job? Head into Buried City, find the damaged solar panel near Grandioso Apartments, and fix it with the right materials before something tries to blast your face off.

After Rain Comes Quest Objectives
Once you accept the quest, your log drops this message:
“A flash flood took out some solar panels in Buried City… Do us all a solid when you’re up there, OK?”
Simple mission. Chaotic execution.
To complete it, you must:
- Find the flooded solar panels near Grandioso Apartments
- Repair the panel using 5 Wires and 2 Batteries
If you already farm materials often, you probably have this stuff lying around. Otherwise, buying them is way faster.
How to Get Wires and Batteries (Fastest Methods)
1. Buy Them From Celeste (Recommended)
The quickest and least painful way — just purchase what you need.
- Open Traders from the main menu
- Select Celeste
- Go into her Trader Shop
- Buy Wires and Batteries in the required amount
Exchange rates:
- 1 Battery = 5 Seeds
- 1 Wire = 4 Seeds
Cheap, easy, no RNG.
2. Farm Them in Raids
If you’d rather loot instead of buy:
Look inside:
- Electric cabinets
- Computers
- Industrial rooms
- Storage areas with tech components
These items are Uncommon, so drop rates are pretty generous.
Pro tip:
Use your prison pocket if you want zero risk of losing the materials on extraction.
Where to Find the Flooded Solar Panels (Grandioso Apartments)
Once you have 5 Wires and 2 Batteries, head into Buried City.
Your destination:
Grandioso Apartments — Southeastern side of the map.
Unlike typical solar panels, these aren’t on rooftops. You’ll find several panels on the ground near the apartment complex. One of them will be visibly damaged.
How to Repair the Solar Panel
Walk up to the damaged panel and interact with it.
Important notes:
- Hold the interaction button — tapping won’t register.
- Make sure the area is clear; repairing locks you in place.
- Once the repair completes, your job is done.
Now extract safely (if you die, you lose your progress), head back to Celeste, and claim your rewards.

Finishing the mission grants:
- Blue Light Stick ×5
- Antiseptic ×3
- Durable Cloth ×5
