Once you hit Flame Level 4 in Enshrouded, Tin suddenly becomes a priority.
You’ll need it for:
- Bronze Bars
- Flame progression
- Various mid-game crafting recipes
Tin isn’t rare — but good farming spots are.
Below are the three best Tin Ore locations that are actually worth your time.
Where to Find Tin Ore
Tin Ore looks like:
- Dark gray ore clusters
- Jagged formations sticking out of cave walls or rocky slopes
- Often found in highland or mine regions
It’s mainly located in and around:
- Nomad Highlands
- Umber Hollow
- Mining zones further north
🥇 1. Northern Nomad Highlands (Near Shroud Root)
Best for: Early-mid Tin farming and Easy acces.
Start from:
- Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire (fast travel)
- Face north-west and glide towards the cave marked on screensot
You’ll find a Shroud Root area with decent Tin deposits.
Why this spot is good:
- Solid amount of ore
- Once cleared, relatively safe to revisit
- Easy spire access
Tip:
Clear the Shroud Root first.
After that, revisits become much easier and faster.
This is your “stable income” Tin spot.
🥈 2. Western Umber Hollow Slopes
Best for: Balanced risk/reward
Head to:
- Western mountain slopes of Umber Hollow
This area has:
- Good ore density
- Moderate enemy presence
- Better ore-to-danger ratio than many caves
It’s not overwhelming, and it’s efficient if your gear is up to date.
How to Farm Tin Efficiently
1️⃣ Bring the Right Pickaxe
A stronger pickaxe speeds up mining and reduces exposure time.
2️⃣ Clear First, Mine Second
Always eliminate nearby enemies before mining.
Mining while under attack = wasted stamina + potential death.
3️⃣ Combine With XP Farming
These zones also contain:
- Combat XP
- Loot
- Other materials
Make it a dual-purpose run.
Tin Farming Strategy (Efficient Loop)
If you want structure:
- Fast travel to Nomad Highlands Spire
- Clear northern Shroud Root area
- Mine everything
- Rotate to Umber Hollow
- Return later once nodes respawn
Tin nodes replenish over time, so rotating locations is smarter than camping one spot.
When You Actually Need Tin
Don’t farm Tin blindly.
Ask:
- Are you crafting Bronze right now?
- Are you upgrading Flame?
- Is Tin your bottleneck?
Pin the recipe you’re aiming for so you don’t overfarm and waste time.
