Yes — you can respec in Enshrouded.
And it’s easier than many players think.
If your build feels off, you switched from melee to magic, or you just want to experiment — here’s how it works.
How to Reset Skill Points
You respec at your Flame Altar.
Steps:
- Go to your Flame Altar
- Interact with it
- Select “Reset Skill Points”
- Confirm
Done.
What Does Respeccing Cost?
👉 The cost is 1 Rune per skill point spent.
So if you’ve spent:
- 5 skill points → costs 5 Runes
- 15 skill points → costs 15 Runes
- 30 skill points → costs 30 Runes
The more invested your build, the more expensive the reset.
How to Get Runes
If you’re low on Runes:
- Kill Shroud enemies (especially Fallen)
- Salvage old weapons instead of discarding them
- Loot containers in Shrouded zones

Is It Worth Respeccing?
Absolutely.
Enshrouded doesn’t lock you into one playstyle. You can:
- Switch from melee to magic
- Go full stamina build
- Try a tank setup
- Test hybrid builds
And since the cost scales per skill point, early resets are very cheap.
