If you need Linen, you need Flax.
If you need armor upgrades, better gear, or base progression… you’ll need a lot of Flax.
Here’s the correct way to get it — and farm it.
🌿 Where to Find Flax (Early Game)
Flax grows naturally in Revelwood.

Look around:
- Near Revelwood Ancient Spire
- Forest clearings and grassy areas
You’re looking for blue flowers.
Harvest them by interacting — no special tool required.
That’s your starting supply.
🌱 How Flax Farming Actually Works
You do not convert Flax into seedlings directly at the Farmer.
You need a Seedbed.

Step 1: Unlock the Farmer
Yes, the Farmer still needs to be unlocked to access proper farming systems.
Step 2: Craft and place the Seedbed

Step 3: Plant the seed in Seedbed
To create Flax Seedlings, use a Seedbed with:

- 1 Water
- 1 Flax
- 1 Farm Soil
- Craft Time: 5 minutes
- Output: 10 Flax Seedlings
That’s your multiplier.
🌾 Planting Flax
Once you have Flax Seedlings:
- Plant them directly in the ground around your base
(grass, soil, open field — no need to overcomplicate it) - Wait for them to grow
- Harvest → Repeat
Once your farm is running, Flax stops being a problem.
🧵 Turning Flax into Linen
Use the Hand Spindle to convert Flax into Linen.
Linen is required for:
- Armor sets
- Gear
- Crafting stations
- Advanced progression
Practical Advice

And that’s the difference between surviving…
