If you’re still using the basic glider… you’re playing slow mode.
The Ghost Glider is currently the best glider in Enshrouded.
Better range. Better speed. Same stamina drain.
And yes — you can get it earlier than you “should.”
📍 Ghost Glider Location
The Ghost Glider is found in:
- Sun Temple
- Located in Kindlewastes
- Far east of the Cinder Vault
- Level 30 area
Inside a golden chest at the top of the temple.
Problem?
The area is filled with:
- Level 30 Scavengers
- Level 30 undead
- Traps
- A giant hostile bird (dragon-like creature)
So walking through the front door is… not recommended.
🧠 The Smart Way (My Route)
Here’s how I did it — underleveled.
- Climbed the mountain west of the Sun Temple
- Used Pickaxe + Double Jump to scale upward
- Dug footholds into the cliff face
- Placed a Flame Altar spawn point as backup
- Glided from the mountain directly onto the temple roof
No dungeon crawling required.
⚠ The “Oh Crap” Moment
When I landed, the big dragon/bird aggro’d.
Instead of fighting:
- I ran inside the top floor
- Opened the golden chest
- Grabbed the Ghost Glider
- Accepted the chaos
It wasn’t pretty.
But it worked.
Why the Ghost Glider Is Worth It
Compared to earlier gliders:
- Over double the range
- Much better speed
- Still only 4 stamina per second
This changes traversal completely.
You can:
- Reach cliffs that were impossible before
- Skip long travel routes
- Farm desert and highlands more efficiently
Pro Tips Before You Go
- Bring Double Jump (almost mandatory)
- Bring extra stamina food
- Place a temporary Flame Altar nearby
- Don’t try to fight Level 30 enemies if you’re not ready
- Think vertical, not frontal assault
Can You Craft Another?
Yes.
Once obtained, you can craft another Ghost Glider if needed.
But honestly — the one from the chest will carry you through most of your playthrough.
Gamenautica Verdict
This is one of those:
“I probably shouldn’t be here yet.”
moments.
But Enshrouded rewards creativity.
Climb smart.
Glide smart.
Loot fast.
Leave alive.
