Bronze Bars are your first real metal progression milestone.
Once Bronze unlocks, early-game gear becomes obsolete fast.
But before you can craft it, there are a few requirements.

🔓 Requirements Before Crafting Bronze
To craft Bronze Bars, you must:
- ✅ Unlock the Blacksmith NPC
- ✅ Complete the quest “Crucible Needed for a Smelter”
- ✅ Build a Smelter
No Smelter = no Bronze.
The quest unlocks the ability to build and properly use the Smelter, so make sure that’s completed first.
🔨 How to Craft Bronze Bars

At the Smelter, combine:
- 7 Copper Bars
- 3 Tin Bars
- 10 Charcoal
⏱ Craft Time: 5 minutes
📦 Output: 10 Bronze Bars
Missing Materials?
You’ll need:
- Copper Bars (guide here)
- Tin Bars (guide here)
- Charcoal (guide here)
Once you’ve got steady production of those three, Bronze becomes very easy to mass-produce.
What Bronze Bars Are Used For
Bronze is heavily used in:
🛡 Armor Sets
- Guardian Armor
- Blackguard Armor
- Mercenary Armor
⚔ Weapons
Crafted via the Blacksmith.
🪑 Furniture & Base Items
Various decorative and functional builds.
Bronze marks the shift from early survival gear to structured mid-game progression.
Gamenautica Tip
Don’t craft Bronze one batch at a time.
Since you get 10 bars per craft, stockpile Copper, Tin, and Charcoal first — then smelt in larger runs.
You will use more Bronze than you expect.
