⚠️ First Impressions
Not gonna lie — this quest was annoying.
It’s one of those missions where:
- Timing matters
- Movement matters
- And messing up = restarting the whole thing
But… once you understand the flow, it’s manageable.
🗺️ Where to Find ARC Deforisters
On the Blue Gate map, there are multiple locations where Deforisters spawn.
They’re hard to miss once you know what you’re looking for:
- Large structure
- Industrial look
- Emits effects when activated
⚡ Step 1 – Activate the Deforister
You’ll need your first ARC Powercell here.
- Insert the powercell into the activation point
- The machine powers up
💡 Important:
Once activated, the Deforister:
- Starts making loud noise
- Emits fire blasts
- Triggers a timer
🔥 Step 2 – Pass Through the Fire
This is where most players mess up.
- The machine starts blasting fire
- You need to time your movement carefully
- Wait for gaps → move → stop → repeat
👉 Don’t rush it.
⚡ Step 3 – Insert Second Powercell
Once you pass the fire:
- Use your second ARC Powercell
- This unlocks the upper section

⚠️ WARNING – Timer Mechanic
Once you activate the Deforister:
👉 A timer starts
If you:
- Fall too often
- Take too long
💥 The machine shuts off
👉 You must restart from step 1
🧗 Step 4 – Climb to the Top
Now for the annoying part:
- Climb up to the upper platform
- Platforming can be tricky
👉 Take your time here
💎 Step 5 – Loot the Node
At the top:
- Break open the node
- Loot the Deforister
🎉 Objective complete.
🏃 Extraction Tip
👉 Get out fast.
Activating the Deforister:
- Makes noise
- Can alert nearby players
💀 PvP risk goes up immediately
🔋 Bring Extra ARC Powercells
Before entering the map:
👉 Bring extra powercells if possible
You can also find them:
- Dropped by drone ARCs
- Inside ARC wreckages
🎁 Rewards
- Patrol Car Key
- 3 Door Stoppers
🔁 Wrap-Up
Even though I didn’t like this quest at first…
👉 Once you understand:
- Fire timing
- Climbing path
- Timer pressure
…it becomes pretty straightforward.
