Quick Answer
- Go to Cascade Grotto (northeast of Hernand City)
- Stand right in front of the waterfall (don’t get pushed back)
- Use Stab ability while facing the waterfall
- This pushes you through the water into a hidden cave
- Loot the chest inside for the boots

Step-by-Step Walkthrough
Step 1: Go to the Correct Location
Use the map below. You’re heading to Cascade Grotto, northeast of Hernand.
Step 2: Find the Waterfall
You’ll see a large waterfall with climbable rocks nearby.
Climb up toward the side of the waterfall.
Step 3: Position Yourself Correctly
- Stand right in front of the waterfall
- Don’t step too far in or the current pushes you back
- You want to be barely touching the water
Step 4: Use the Stab Ability
Face the waterfall and use Stab.
This is the key:
- The stab pierces through the water current
- You’ll clip straight into the hidden cave behind it
Step 5: Loot the Chest
Inside, follow the short path.
You’ll find a chest with:
- Scorchflame Leather Boots
Step 6: Get Out
To leave:
- Use Stab again through the waterfall, or
- Just fast travel out
