Right after completing Rhett’s quest, you’ll run into another early-game side quest: Turnali’s Request.
This one is just as important — but instead of mining, it teaches you:
Woodcutting and basic crafting
Let’s walk through it step-by-step so you can complete it fast.

Where to Start Turnali’s Request

You’ll find Turnali in the same area as Rhett:
- Main starting town
- Near the blacksmith area
Yes — Turnali is also a blacksmith, which makes this a natural follow-up quest.
Talk to him and accept:
- “Turnali’s Request”
Quest Objective: Get 3 Fine Timber
After accepting the quest, Turnali will:
Give you a Logging Axe
Your objective:
- Get Fine Timber (0/3)
How to Get Timber
Head just outside the town and look for trees.

Step-by-step:
- Find a tree
- Use your Logging Axe to chop it down
- Once it falls, keep chopping the log
- Break it into smaller pieces
- Pick up the Timber

Repeat until you have:
- 3 Timber
Turn In the Timber
Return to Turnali and:
- Hand over the 3 Timber
This completes the first part of the quest.
Read Turnali’s Flyer

Next step:
Open your inventory
Find Turnali’s Smithy Flyer
Examine/read it
This is required to progress — easy to miss if you rush.
Refine the Bekker Shield

Final step:
- Return to Turnali
- Use the crafting/refining system
- Refine the Bekker Shield using timber

Once done:
Quest complete
Rewards for Turnali’s Request
Here’s what you get:

- Logging Axe x1
- Medium Bag x1
- Bekker Shield x1
- Timber x10
- Turnali’s Smithy Flyer
(Yes, the flyer is technically part of the quest… but you still keep it)
Why This Quest Matters
This is not just a simple fetch quest.
It teaches you:
Woodcutting mechanics
Resource processing (logs → timber)
Basic crafting/refining
Also:
- The Medium Bag = more inventory space
- The Bekker Shield = early survivability boost
